My Approach
Let's keep it stress free
I love photographing you as you truly are. Natural, relaxed, and beautifully yourself. Nothing stiff or overly posed. My sessions are calm and easy, allowing you to settle in, enjoy the moment, and simply be together. When everyone feels comfortable, genuine smiles and laughter unfold effortlessly, creating images that feel honest and full of heart.
A little personal note. After many attempts at tripod photos with my dad enthusiastically trying to help, we happily handed the camera to our friend Ashley of Brooke Images. She captured this moment perfectly, both toddler boys looking at once, and it is now one of our most treasured framed memories.
It's Me!
& my favorite boys
I love photographing wonderful people like you.
Photography began as a passion and quickly became something much deeper. There is nothing I enjoy more than watching my clients relax, laugh, and truly enjoy their time together, often finding myself smiling right along with them. I first picked up a camera in 2013, borrowing my dad’s and learning through curiosity and creativity. By 2016, I invested in my own camera and committed to continually refining my craft, building on the foundation I grew up with while my parents worked as sports photographers.
In 2020, I founded Caitlin Mae Photography, and I am endlessly grateful for the incredible families I now have the joy of photographing. Capturing meaningful moments and turning them into lasting memories is what inspires me every day.
I am a proud graduate of Florida State University and still hold a soft spot for fall Saturdays and game day excitement. Go Noles. I later earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Florida International University and continue this work 'as needed' alongside my photography career.
In 2021, I married my handsome red headed husband, Kyle, who is endlessly supportive of my photography and never tires of seeing how excited I get over the images I create for you. In April 2023, we welcomed our first son, Bennett, followed by our second son, Nolan, who arrived early in January 2025. Being a boy mama is my greatest joy. Our days are full of laughter, curiosity, and so many sweet moments, and I feel incredibly grateful for this season of life.
