Pricing & Booking FAQ

How Does your Pricing Work?
I use a session fee plus ordering appointment model. You pay the session fee to reserve your date, and then after your session we meet (virtually or in person) to view your images and choose your favorites for the prints, albums, and digitals you want. There's no pressure to decide anything on the spot during the session itself.
Do you offer packages?
Yes! I have a few curated collections to make the decision process easy, but I also love working with clients to customize something that fits exactly what they're looking for. Every family is different, and your images should reflect that. At your ordering appointment, we'll look at everything together and figure out what works best for you, whether that's one of my existing collections or something we build from scratch. Ask me about my Bump to Baby special also!
What is your turnaround time
Your gallery will be ready within 1-2 weeks after your ordering appointment. You'll receive a private online gallery to view and download your selected images. Products will be ordered as soon as your gallery is ready and shipped straight to you!
Do you travel outside Jacksonville/Saint Augustine?
I serve Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra, and surrounding areas. I am willing to travel for newborn and/or other sessions, just ask!
Newborn
FAQ

When should I book my newborn session?
During your second trimester! Around 20 weeks is ideal. I hold your spot based on your due date and follow up once baby arrives to schedule the actual session. I only take a limited number of newborns each month, so earlier is always better!
When is the best age for newborn photographs?
The sweet spot is within the first two weeks of life. Babies are still so sleepy and snuggly at that stage, which makes for the most relaxed, beautiful session. That said, I do in-home lifestyle sessions, so we can still capture gorgeous images even a little past that window. Don't stress if life gets in the way!
How long does a newborn photography session take?
Newborn sessions typically run anywhere from 1–2 hours depending on your baby's needs. Feeds, diaper changes, soothing, all of it is part of the process. There's no rushing. We go at baby's pace.
Do you come to our home?
Yes! I specialize in in-home lifestyle newborn sessions right here in Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and Ponte Vedra. Being in your own space means baby is comfortable, you're relaxed, and the images feel like your life, not a generic studio.
Is newborn posing safe?
Absolutely! Your baby's safety and comfort always come first. I have years of experience with newborns and I never push a baby into a position they're not happy in. Since I specialize in lifestyle sessions, posing is natural and relaxed rather than elaborate - think sleepy stretches, snuggles with mom and dad, and quiet little details. Nothing forced, ever.
What should I do to prepare for a newborn session?
Honestly, the most important thing is that you're relaxed and not stressing. I've got you covered there! I'll send tips and tricks the day before and morning of your session so everything feels fresh and easy going into it. The basics: keep the house warm (babies love it toasty!) and feed baby right before I arrive. I'll walk you through everything else ahead of time so there are no surprises!
What if the baby is fussy or won't sleep?
This is completely normal and honestly expected. I build plenty of time into the session for feeds, comfort breaks, and soothing. Some of the most beautiful shots happen when baby is awake and alert anyway!
Maternity FAQ

When should I take maternity photographs?
The sweet spot is typically 28–32 weeks - you have a beautiful bump but still feel comfortable moving around. I'd recommend booking by 20 weeks to make sure we get your ideal timing on the calendar.
Where do you shoot maternity sessions?
I love beaches and parks across Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and Ponte Vedra! Beach sessions are shot at golden hour - that warm, glowy light is absolutely dreamy for maternity. Parks are a little more flexible with timing and give such a lush, natural backdrop. I'll help you find the perfect spot for your vibe!
What should I wear for maternity photos?
My favorites are flowy dresses, form-fitting dresses that show off that beautiful bump, or even jeans with an open button-down; so classic and timeless. I'll send over a style guide when you book, and I'm always happy to hop on a styling call to help you pull your look together before your session!
Family FAQ

How do I get my kids to cooperate for photos?
Honestly? I don't force it. I work with kids where they are! If they want to run, we run. If they're shy, we warm up slowly. The candid in-between moments are usually the magic ones anyway. Bring their favorite snack as a bribe and leave the rest to me.
What age is good for family photos?
Any age! Newborn through big kids! I love photographing the whole spectrum. If you have multiple kids at different stages, I'll make sure everyone gets their moment.
